Yoga at Spring Creek Hall

Due to medical family emergency in Europe, I am currently away and not teaching at Spring Creek. However, we have been lucky to assemble a group of highly experienced teachers to cover most of the classes so that yoga may continue at Spring Creek. Various styles and approaches to yoga mean that everyone can find a practice suitable to their needs. Here is the current schedule:

Tuesday 6pm and Thursday 6pm Vinyasa flow with James Wvinner

Online practice - live and recorded

  • Vinyasa Flow - 75 minutes

  • Modified Vinyasa Flow - 75 minutes

Practising at home requires having a safe space around the mat (doesn’t need to be large!) so you don’t hurt yourself if you happen to lose balance. It is important that you practice responsibly and safely by listening to your body and backing out of a position if needed.

For Modified Flow, it is helpful to have some props handy. These can be everyday objects such as books or paper towel rolls as yoga blocks, soft belt or tie as yoga strap and maybe a cushion or a bolster

If you have 10 class pass from Elevate studio, you can use it to book the online practice

You need to download a free Zoom app to practice online. Once you’ve booked your class, you will receive a link and a password and you can either join the live practice or use a link to the recording and practice in your own time.

One to One individual class

If you have never practiced yoga before and are anxious about joining a studio or there are particular elements you would like to explore in your practice, the tailor-made class, structured to suit your needs is the solution.

You can also opt for a transformative 10-weekly program which includes a 75 minute one to one class together every week and a link to a video with a shorter class for daily practice. This option enables me to develop a series of classes more deeply rooted in what you need physically, mentally and emotionally in order to bring a long lasting change.

These classes can be booked to practice either via Zoom or in person if you are based in Blenheim/Marlborough area in New Zealand.
