Yoga?! I don’t think that’s for me….

 

I’m not fit at all, can I practice?

Absolutely! Practice can be modified to fit everyone.

As we listen to our bodies, we develop intrinsic understanding of what they’re capable of and how far we can go

What do I need to own to practice?

Investing in your own mat is a good idea, especially if you practice online.

Other props like yoga strap and blocks are helpful but not essential and you can always use home objects to help you.

How do I overcome fear or embarrassment?

Each of us comes to the mat to face our own challenges. The emphasis to turn the gaze inwards encourages us to stop comparing ourselves to others.

My beloved teacher Lesley Fightmaster used to say: “Yoga is an inside job”, the mat is a safe inclusive space without any judgement.
